On the Sun-3, it appears that cc1 needs 1.2Mb + for simple programs, non-optimising, more for large/complex programs. Anyone know where the space goes? BTW, I'm not complaining. I'm firmly in the school of thought which says do it right, not do it quick, or slow. Having said that I'm mildly surprised that non-optimising programs require that much room.
