Umm... Am I really the only person that has noticed that there has
been code in inews since at least version 2.10.2 that requires the
first character of a newsgroup to be an alphabetic chatacter?

groups beginning with 3 won't work under any version of the news
software that I know of (except maybe C news)

I think you will have to pick another name (or get
every site to change their software...)
