  I'd also like to see a public discussion group for 
	1) known, solved problems
	2) discussion of theory and standards.
  I suspect that there always will be a private sysadmin's security
mailing list for each major system/os on the net...


  I've not seen much discussion of the "orange book" on the net,
which I found strange... I saw less of it on the mailing list back
when I was on it, which was by no means strange: the list tended to
consider practical aspects.
