In my continuing quest.... I still have not been able to get the name of ONE person who knew that this was an "OBVIOUS" hole. Name one and my quest will be over. The fact that sendmail has a debug mode is not a bug. The fact that you can run an arbitrary process from debug mode IS a bug. I hear lots of people claiming that it was a well known problem, yet no one can name one person who will admit to knowing it. Another urban legend in the making... ---rick
