Message-ID: <4111@psuvax1.cs.psu.edu> Date: 10 Nov 88 08:26:13 GMT Sender: news@psuvax1.cs.psu.edu Reply-To: schwartz@shire.cs.psu.edu (Scott Schwartz) Organization: Pennsylvania State University, Computer Science Lines: 14 What is the exact status of the two (more?) security mailing lists that have been discussed on the net lately? I understand that the Isis list is in the process of restarting. What of the other? A number of people have commented on the number of vendor distributed BSD based systems that have made essentially no improvements (bugfix-wize, anyway) over pure BSD. Is it wishful thinking to hope that influential people at Sun, AT&T, DEC, etc., will receive the security mailing lists and take measures? -- Scott Schwartz " ``Fixed in...'' ... oh, never mind."
