I've gotten a second broken VCR from a friend.

Once in a while (while in play mode) it just stops.
The power is still on and it takes 2-3 tries hitting
the play button before it stays in play mode.

SHARP model VC581U

Anyone have any ideas?

PS once in a while (while in play mode) it jitters (for .5 seconds)
   like its going to stop but doesn't.

PS frequence varies from once in 4-5 hours to once in 15 minutes!!!
