Alameda, CA 94501 Lines: 17 Is this a bug in /bin/sh on the UNIXPC, or am I ____? I type "/bin/sh -c ps -e" from a shell, and I get all of the garbage in /etc/profile and $HOME/.profile before I get ps. I do the same thing with ksh, and I just get ps, like I should. The docs for sh(1) and ksh(1) under "Invocation" describe identical behavior, but sure don't act the same on my system. I am running 3.5.1.4. So, am I ____, or am I just hitting the brick wall on this box? -- "People will do anything for a potato" {amdahl, mtxinu, pacbell, sun}!rtech!gusano!ralph ralph%gusano@rtech.com
