I have a three dimensional data set (usually about 256x256x128)
that was acquired in transverse slices.  I would like to be able
to take an arbitrary slice through this data -- that is, at
any angle in any plane.

I've seen this done on a number of commercial boxes.  Is
there anywhere I can find some code to do this, before
I think about rewriting something from scratch?  I couldn't
find anything in comp.sources.unix....
