I think that's unfortunate, but APL is STSC's main product, so I wouldn't assume that this is a reflection of their assessment of the APL market in general. Right now STSC is heavily involved in its APL products for MS-DOS and its UNIX-based APL. They may not want to spread themselves too thinly.
