U.K. Lines: 34 Hello Vnews readers, This is my first message I have completed without the help of a computer scientist, so please excuse my typing. I have written a DR11W device driver for a interface to a vector graphics system (Megatek) and I want to try and transfer this from a SUN 3/160 to another VME based OS9 system. I have, however, no experience in writing drivers on a os9 system. I would, therefore, appreciate any tips on the following or examples of the following. A) Books on system programming in the 0S9 System. B) Any examples of drivers for a character oriented device like an interface of the above type. or/and C) Any pointers to the differences between OS9 and Unix system programming ( such as how the drivers is annealed with the current core programs.). I would like to thank anyone for their help, should they send any. And please excuse my simplicity if the programming task is essentially the same. I am asking because we are considering the change between a SUN and and OS9 system to gain real-time control over our system , Thanks again , Malcolmc
