A modification of POOL2 (called POOL-X) to support database work includes exceptions and dynamic types described by runtime type descriptors. At the Nat Lab, they have nice interpreter (plx) for POOL2/POOLX. I think you get get it. You certainly can get a POOL-T interpreter (pl) and multicomputer simulator (parpl) from them.
