Tom was referring to the TCP-IP mailing group. 2). I have had a couple of occasions to talk with Tom since this whole thing started and I have found him to be quite helpful, open to suggestions, and willing to share appropriate information. I am not opposed to personal flames (though it is not my style), but this one was simply ungrounded and contributed nothing to our understanding of the problem.
