I am looking for (preferably C) source code for a GOOD, general purpose,
dynamic memory allocation routine.  References to articles with implementable
algorithms (I've already checked Knuth) also welcome.

In addition, I would be interested in a test bed for the above, both for
testing functionality and performance (probably in separate test beds).

I assume that email would be more appropriate that a net posting, although
I DO read this newsgroup.  I will send out anything I receive to anyone
who makes such a request.
