The latest version of XBBS source code is available via anonymous UUCP
from conexch.  You'll find it in /usr/spool/uucpppublic/ALLbbs.tar.Z.

I haven't heard of it being ported to BSD yet, but it is known to run
under Xenix, Microport, ICS, SysV.2/3, 3B1, ...
