I happen to have a very similar setup to the one mentioned in the parent article
to this (i.e. a 2000 with C Ltd. Controller hooked to a Seagate 277N Hard Drive).
Can anybody tell me whether I am going to need anything special in order to go
to Dos 1.3?  Yes, I know that I won't be able to boot off of it, but I was
wondering if I would need any special drivers in order to either make it work
or make it use FFS.

P.S.  No, I still haven't got a driver ready for the CGP 220 color printer.
Does anybody know of a printer driver generator that already generates drivers
for 1.3?
