According to the 1.3 Enhancer Manual the option "/a1" should bypass the trans- lator sending the "string" directly to the narrator device. When I: "1>echo > speak:opt/r/p130/s125/d1 "helllo leesa"" The amiga (a1000) outputs: "hello Lisa" (roughly :-> ). But when I: "1>echo > speak:opt/r/p130/s125/d1/a1 "kumpyuw5ter" (<< RKM ex.) The amiga output is silent. If I repeat the previous line without the "/a1", The amiga outputs: "compuIVEter" (my caps). If my reading of the RKM narrator device section and the enhancer manual is correct, the "5" should have indicated a stress on syllable without the pronunciation of the word "fIVE" in the middle.
