Summary: How do you make the buffer small???? Keywords: speak device, buffers, wargames Message-ID: <7623@pasteur.Berkeley.EDU> Date: 21 Nov 88 05:39:36 GMT References: <127@ziggy.UUCP> Sender: news@pasteur.Berkeley.EDU Reply-To: dyl@cory.Berkeley.EDU.UUCP (dylan mcnamee) Organization: University of California, Berkeley Lines: 12 I have been trying to get speak to read a capture file from VT100. It sorta works, by capturing to the file speak:. However, the buffer is so large that speak doesn't get around to speaking the text until it's up off the page. Question: I would like the buffer to be small. ~100 bytes, or so. I know it wouldn't be useful generally, but at 300 baud (WarGames speed) a file capture/simultaneos speak would look really neat. Any ideas? thanks, dylan mcnamee dyl@cory.berkeley.edu
