A recent study in MacWorld (november 1988) shows mainly 4 possible options of SCSI drives: 1) Tape drives (slow, small capacity, cheap) 2) Video Tape drives (fast, large capacity, expensive**) 3) Removable Hard disk and Bernoulli (fast, small capacity) 4) WORM optical drives (still expensive) What are the options, Amigan have already experimented? Is there any software support available? o SCSI driver for tapes or WORM o Global, incremental Backup Our more specific problem is the backup of a 142 Mb hard-disk connected to the A2090 board. ** Alpha Micro produces Videotrax for VHS Beta 8 mm videotape VCR for $499, if one include a computer controlled VCR for $1299 one get a complete system for $1800 with up to 240 Mb capacity.
