Dinkin" Subject: I NEED HELP To: INFO-APPLE@BRL.MIL My name is Garry Dinkin, I am the manager of the Apple Lab at Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Maryland. My problem(s) are follows: I have been Apple Lab manager since August of this year, but I am having some difficulties that my superiors do not know the answers to and Apple Computers or WordPerfect Corp. won't give any help/answers. 1. There is no documentation on how to clean the disk drives on our APPLE IIE's and there does not seem to be any diagnostic software available for these machines. How can I accomplish these tasks without having to take my machines to an authorized dealer every time? 2. We have WordPerfect version 1.1 for APPLE IIE's and are have continuous problems with error codes 81 & 86. What do they mean and how can th ey be corrected? How can I get a list of the error codes for Apple WordPerfect v1.1? Any help or assistance you can give will be appreciated. Thank you in advance, Garry A. Dinkin . QUIT
