The mouse connector has 9 pins, while the old I/O had 16. I believe that I found through expermenting on my //c that the new connector was missing the AN0-AN3. AN0-AN3 are announciator outputs. They also didn't include the C040 STROBE and left off pin 9 and 16 which had no internal connections. I'm sorry I can't tell you where the remaining pins are on the 9 pin output.
