A couple of thoughts come to mind. Are you also powering down your CMS-60 when you power down your GS? It appears there maybe enough power coming through the CMS SCSI card to hold some memory in the GS. Also there is a problem with some of the main chips on the CMS card. If yours should be a Mitsubisi (sp??) chip, contact CMS for a FREE upgrade chip. The bad ones have a timing defect problem that can affect many things including the boot sequence, not allowing the use of some other cards such as a Fingerprint GSI card, etc. I obtained my free upgrade chips for my CMS drives at the last Applefest and everything works just fine now. Hope the above is of some help. -- Internet -- bsherm%umbio@umigw.miami.edu UUCP -- {uunet!gould}!umbio!bsherm Miami's Big Apple 305-948-8000 1200 baud 24 hours 8 years online
