Er, based on my information, Atari and CBM have near equal market shares here in Germany, if you look only on the 68k machines. Atari has a little bonus because the ST was released half a year before AMIGA 1000. On the 8bit market, the XL/XE systems were not very successful (I wonder why because the hardware and the Operating system of the Ataris was much better and cheaper).
