The newest version of Smalltalk80 supports so called user primitives which are simply C functions that are linked to the machine. We would like to support MWC object format, as the DRI C object format knows about 8 char symbols only. However, the MWC manual does not mention the exact MWC object format but only the header. Does anyone on the net know the real object format ? We need this very urgently! Thanx in advance Andreas Toenne P.S. Smalltalk80 runs on AtariSt with at least 2 MB. It costs 399 DM (which is about 200 US$) for students and universities which is a real bargain.
