I understand that it is just as likely than a Trojan Horse or a virus can erase data tracks as well as the FAT and directory BUT if this happens, most of us will be quick enough to turn off the computer before the damage becomes too severe. It does take a lot of time to format tracks and I am sure the sound that this makes is going to attract attention. With a 130 MB hard disk, backing up everything is too tedious for me. I talked to Mark White of Supra and he was interested but I have seen nothing from him yet. Maybe some hacker on the net can do it -- I will gladly pay a shareware fee! Lawrence Y.
