I opened it up enough to see the component side which indicated it was a TDK41V. There was one spot on the board that looked like a small pot with a plus shaped indention in it. Is this the speed adjustment?? My problem is that my Translator One/Spectre 128 can't seem to correctly format Mac disks. The suggestion I received was to be sure the drive was as close to 300 rpm as possible. Has anyone got any other suggestions? I would appreciate any help.
