Dont throw away your sh204. Inside it is just like the bms-100 in function. there is a SCSI adaptor (little board) connected to an Adaptec 4000. The adaptec is connected to 1 internal drive. An adaptec will run 2 drives. just add a second drive: 1. get new 34 pin ribbon with 3 connectors on it (not just 2.) a. one connector to adaptec, one to internal drive, one continues out the box to another drive. 2. get a second 20 pin connector, just like the internal one, only longer. ((these are standard PC materials -- should be easy to get or make )) 3. add a second drive and a power supply for it. sh204 doesnt have any to spare. I put a 80 meg drive on my sh204 -- works great.
