In an earlier response someone said that the message

Parity Check 2 
80000 (S)

is from expansion cards and not from system (or extended) memory.

I've been getting this message every few days for the last 4 months.
I thought it was my new game port or my new EGA card, but the
problems continued after removing these cards.

Does anyone know how I can diagnose this problem?
