I've just bought an Amstrad PC2086, which is essentially a model 30 clone, with all that that entails. Including, of course, 3.5" disks. I wish to communicate with other PC users who have 360kb, 5.25" disks, and there is a suitable port hanging off the side of the machine. Alas, I only have a 5.25", 80 track drive, and cannot persuade it to double step so that I can read standard PC disks. Does anybody have any software that will make my B: drive double step? Thanks for any help.. regards, atp -- * ARPAnet: pottera@cs.glasgow.ac.uk * Alan T Potter (atp) * * Janet : pottera@uk.ac.glasgow.cs * JH, Comp Sci Department, * * USEnet : mcvax!cs.glasgow.ac.uk!pottera * University of Glasgow * "If you can see the hills, it'll rain.
