Lines: 19 I have had a NEC Multisync Plus monitor on my AT-386 system for approximately 6 months. From day one, I noticed that the image suffered from pincushioning, as well as moderate fuzziness. Since that time, the image has become increasingly fuzzy, and the colors are horribly fringed at the corners and edges of the screen. In particular, the monitor's blue gun seems to be firing over two millimeters earlier than the red and green guns, and the red gun is firing one millimeter higher than the blue and green guns. My questions are these: 1) Is this problem an irreparable result of age? 2) If not, can I fix it by adjusting some internal potentiometers? 3) Or does it absolutely require a NEC service technician because of the need for diagnostic equipment of some kind? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Craig Chaiken Hartford Graduate Center Computing Services
