The new verions of the CDEV's check to make sure that the clock chip is present before they will even consider working. If they don't find the new clock chip then they don't show up in the control panel. But I'm just happy to have sys 6.0.2 so that I can play with the notification manager. Question for the net: Is it the sound CDEV that requires the new clock chip or does the new Sound Manager require it? I would like to play with the new sound manager which is suppose to be part of sys 6.0.2, but does it require the new clock chip. -- David M.
