That means that you have a fairly new 512Ke. AS has been posted on the net before some of the last 512Ke's actually have th Mac-Plus clock Chip instead of the old one. Someone at Apple's factory sat down at thought about why they should go to the trouble of maintaining 2 completely different IC components when they are pin for pin compatible, so in some of the last 512Ke's to roll of the Assembly line they were putting the Mac-Plus clock chips in them. From talking with people at Apple however the # of 512Ke's with this "upgrade" is a very low percentage. -- David M.
