I personally really *love* Canvas. It is quite an amazing program. Besides the fact that it mixes both Paint and Draw objects in the same layer, it is really great for anyone dealing with scanned images. I bought Canvas 1.02 with the promise of getting a free upgrade to Canvas 2.0 (incidentally saving about $180). The downswing of this is, if you saw my earlier posting, that someone else bought Canvas DA with the same registration number as my copy. So I had to send a photocopy of my diskettes. Unfortunately, I have been unable to see Canvas 2.0 to make any value judgements on it, but if its any bit as good as Canvas 1.02, I would buy it if I were you. If you can, buy the old version for the free upgrade. It might take a bit longer (~3 weeks?) but you will save quite a bit.
