Arctic Software Ltd, Lulea, Sweden have developed a conference
system that takes care of registration, reports and other tasks
involved in arranging a conference.

The database includes, among other things, persons file, hotels
file, organisations file, conferences file, events file,
"papers" file, "abstracts" file, statistics file.

Reports examples:
  - Delegate lists
  - Booking lists for hotels
  - Balances for delegates (Fees and payments)
  etc etc.

The system:
  - can produce mailing labels and standard letters of confirmation.
  - works in a single-user environment as well as in a multi-user
    environment.

Example of system speed (Mac SE):
  Registration of a new person:
    about 5 seconds (save & new screen)
