Our Computer-Aided Engineering Dept. recently got about 60 new Mac IIs.
Some (about 1/3) of these have a new mouse.  The ball is made of black
plastic that doesn't seem to get dirty very often.  The mouse overall is
very light (mostly because the ball is plastic).  I recently bought a
new SE (today, actually) and I didn't get the new mouse.  Does anyone
else know about these mice and why I didn't get one?
