Well here we go again with another naive question....

I've noticed on some of the macs I work with (v6.02) that the
sound icons (wavey lines) have changed to plain document icons
and the stiffit files (.sit) files have changed to "C vices" from
filled bins. Remaking the desktop at volume mount time does NOT help.

On multi volume disks some of the volumes show the correct icon while
others do not.

How do I get my icons back (and how can I stop them changing in future)?
