An easy one; I'm going to be working on porting a large
C program onto the Mac (a Mac II, initially) and would
like to ask for recommendations on;

	1. A `C' Compiler
	2. A `C' symbolic debugger
	3. A `lint' like program validator.
	3. A decent *programmers* editor

I also will need some documentation, so would like to also ask
readers of this group about what books they feel are the best
introductions and reference guides to the Mac OS and to using
the Mac Toolkit.  Is it, for example, essential that I pick up
a copy of "Inside Mac", and if so, which volumes??
