I have an OMTI 3100 and a Maxtor XT1140 and CANNOT get this to
format to the full 140 Meg. If I use some commercial formatter/installer
(for their product), I can format this to be 20 or 40 Meg. 

	Oh! but the waste of drive space. I have benged my head for 
about 4 months with this and cannot get this thing to work. I have
learned a lot about SCSI, a lot about SF&I, a lot about the Maxtor XT1140
and a lot about the OMTI 3100 board.

	If I want, I can format the drive with SF&I (which will work)
install DDM, DPM, and Driver  but the dang thing will not initialize the 
Mac directory without failing.


HELP

Anyone have a working, homebrew Maxtor XT1140??? with an OMTI 3100??
