Um, FYI, TCOMPL -is- the byte compiler. I tried the example given below with both the byte compiler and the common-lisp compiler, and both worked fine (in Medley, which US customers should have received by now). - - - - - The byte-compiler generates: 34: 157 45 4 110 GCONST -2115947648 40: 20 RETURN 41: 0 -X- TCOMPL generates: 34: 157 75 151 366 GCONST 2179019648 40: 20 RETURN 41: 0 -X- Which seems more correct. - - - - -
