R & D, Schenectady,NY Lines: 11 Thanks to several people who told me that cpio uses /bin/mkdir to create directories. NOT mkdir, but /bin/mkdir, so don't bother using PATH. Anyway, if I can find something to delete from the boot floppy I will add mkdir, otherwise I'll continue to use dump/restore because it has the code built in (or at any rate runs).
