Dumb question number 42: Where can I find the program used to generate
the checksums on the sliced up tar-files in the xv11r3 FTP
distribution?  I'm afraid I don't quite trust tar when it doesn't
complain -- even if I put the wrong slice in the middle (:-).
Pointers to FTP sites would be appreciated.
