I compiled and ran the " colorful kaleidoscopic display" program posted in comp.sources.x (including the posted patches). I works wonderfully except for the icon window. I am using twm from the R3 tape as my window manager. When I iconify the kaleidoscope window the icon window appears but the right half of the window is a static pixmap produced by twm. The left half is the moving icon window updated by the program as it continues to run. Is twm supposed to handle icon windows? If so, has anyone else seen this behavior with twm? mike Michael Reilly @ Digital Equipment Corporation Networks and Communications Group reilly%atari.NaC.dec.com@decwrl.dec.com ...{allegra,decvax,ucbvax}!decwrl!atari.dec.com!reilly
