Message-ID: Date: 20 Nov 88 03:15:07 GMT Sender: ham@polya.Stanford.EDU Distribution: comp Organization: Stanford University Lines: 20 I want to drag object around inside a window by clicking and dragging. What's the fastest way to do this smoothly? What I'm doing now is selecting for motion events when the first button is down. When I receive a motion event, I read up all of the motion events currently on the queue and the call XQueryPointer to get the latest position of the mouse. Still this looks a little jagged. I tried selecting with PointerMotionHintMask but never ended up getting any motion events.
