I have a problem. I have the complete R3 distribution. All checksums are ok.
I created the uc[12].tar.Z files. Now I start uncompressing.
After the uncompressing everything looks allright, but when I look at
uc[12].tar it appears that I have lost a lot of data. The files are truncated.
This problem didn't appear after uncompressing the core. Are there people
out there who have had the same problem ?

PS I tried it on a vax running 4.3BSD and a sun running 3.5 using 
   uncompress v4.0
