    Right now I have /usr/lib/X11/xdm in my 'rc.local' file.

That's a fine way to run it.

    I added '-C' to the xterm commands in Xsession.

Sounds reasonable.

    As for contrib stuff, should we submit bug reports to expo?

Nope.  Submit them to the author (if you figure out who), or
submit them to the net if you think there is sufficient interest.
