My vt220 is connected through some sort of terminal server which, from the shell, interprets C-\ as "connect to the previous session in the list of sessions to which this user is connected". (I usually have sessions on 2-4 machines.) It works fine from the shell. But today I accidentally hit C-z C-\ in rapid succession, and gnu dumped core. This is repeatable, and happens both to my 'loaded' emacs and to one that does not have a .emacs to go through first (a 'bare' emacs). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dave Bristor don't be negative! dbristo@opus.intel.com
