I am sure the soviets have been reading the net for years. It might not be generally available in the USSR, but they surely have access to it. Soviet intelligence wouldn't be worth much if they couldn't get into an open network like this. And it must mean a lot to them too, because it contains very useful information about an industry in which they are clearly behind. Coming to think of it: are they behind that much?
