This is for a SF Bayarea JR college prof that teaches UNIX but does not have
access to the NET. I do not normally read this news group. Please mail any
replies directly to me. Thanks.

This prof. that I know would like to get access to the net so that he can
better keep track of things going on in the UNIX world. I remember there
being on or more public net nodes in the SF bay area. {Portal??}.

Could someone please mail me information on how to get hold of the people who
run a public node. A phone number or address would do fine.
