what charles said.

charles, larry will mail you a description on request, or at least he
did for me.  (last time, no doubt.)  since i'm unaffected by the "bug"
(which i would describe as pilot error, not any fundamental weakness),
i deleted the message.

it has something to do with a program called uuhosts.  i don't have 
uuhosts either.
