Smith) Distribution: sci.electronics Organization: Amoco Production Company, Tulsa Research Center Lines: 14 A friend of mine is bothered by minor noises when she is trying to sleep (birds, rain, cosmic radiation, etc) and frequently runs a fan in her bedroom to drown out distractions. I recall from time-to-time encountering articles and ads for various types of noise generators intended for people with the above problems. The simplest ones (as I recall) just amplified the hash from a reverse-biased zener; more elaborate systems had filters with time-varying passbands to produce surf sounds. I would like to track down one of these doodads. If you know of (a) commercial products, (b) kits, or (c) construction articles, I would appreciate a note.
