  Unfortunately the version of ARC which will handle PKARC files doesn't
run on many versions of UNIX (actually the arc program stock doesn't run
without diddling in most cases). I have "ported" zoo 2.01 to Xenix/286,
/386, Ultrix, SunOS, Convex, Encore, and VAX/VMS. All I changed was the
defines for UNIX type. VMS took some minor playing with the makefile,
but I didn't touch the code.

  On my BBS I leave things the way I get them if they are arc or zoo,
and repack them if they are dwc or pkarc. I pack anything I personally
develop and release in zoo format.
